Snowmobiles may only be operated in compliance with the New York State laws regulating snowmobiles.
It shall be unlawful to operate a snowmobile on any street in the Village.
The Village Board upon a request from a local civic group may by special resolution open Mill Street and George Street to provide access to the Village Hall for special activities. Such request shall be made prior to a regular Village Board meeting.
It shall be unlawful to operate a snowmobile upon a public sidewalk or walkway.
No snowmobile shall be operated on any land without having written permission from the owner of such land.
It shall be unlawful to operate snowmobiles on any land within the Village between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
In case of snow emergency, when and as so declared by the Chief of Police, officer in charge, or Mayor, snowmobile travel on Village highways and streets shall be permitted for emergency purposes.

Failure to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed a violation and the violator shall be punished as set forth on the Village of Dryden Fine Schedule, which Fine Schedule may be established by resolution and thereafter amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees. In addition, the convicted person may be required to complete a snowmobile safety course if directed by the court.
