No authorized person shall cut, remove, break or carry away any portion of a street pavement without first obtaining written permission from the Board or Superintendant. Before issuing a permit, the Board or Superintendant shall require the applicant to deposit with the Village Clerk a sum of money sufficient to pay the cost of restoring the pavement of curbing substantially to its previous condition and a fee in the amount as set forth on the Village of Dryden Fee Schedule, which Fee Schedule may be established by resolution and thereafter amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees. The deposit may be used to restore the disturbed surface or curb if not properly restored by the applicant. Any excess deposit after Board approval shall be refunded to the applicant.

The excavation and construction of all streets, sidewalks and public ways within the Village shall meet such specifications, standards and requirements as may be established by the Board of Trustees. All such work shall be under the direct supervision of the Department of Public Works and the Chief Engineer.

Failure to comply with any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed a violation and the violator shall be punished as set forth on the Village of Dryden Fine Schedule, which Fine Schedule may be established by resolution and thereafter amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees.
