[Adopted 1-24-1996 (Sec. 20201 of the 1996 Code); amended in its entirety at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. III)]
No person shall harbor cattle, horses, goats, sheep, swine, fowl, "farm animals" as defined by the New York Agriculture and Markets Law § 350, or wild animals as specified in the General Municipal Law § 209-cc within the Village limits, unless otherwise permitted by the Village Code (see Article III, Keeping of Fowl). Said provision shall not apply to persons or his/her executors, administrators, or distributees who at the time of the passing of these laws harbor such aforementioned animals.
Failure to comply with any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed a violation and the violator shall be punished as set forth on the Village of Dryden Fine Schedule, which Fine Schedule may be established by resolution and thereafter amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees.
