The Planning Board shall consist of five members appointed by the Village Board in accordance with Village Law § 7-718, and is authorized and empowered to review and approve or disapprove any plats showing lots, blocks or sites, with or without streets or highways, in accordance with Chapter
287, Subdivision of Land. The Planning Board shall have such other powers and duties as prescribed by statute and this Code.
The Planning Board may modify applicable provisions of the zoning
ordinances, providing that such modifications are disclosed at the
public hearings required by the Village subdivision regulations.
