There shall be appointed by the Board a duly
qualified person to serve as Sanitary Inspector.
It shall be the duty of the Health Inspector
to make, from time to time, inspections of every part of this Town
to enforce all the rules and regulations in regard to the public health
adopted by this Board and to perform such other matters as may from
time to time be assigned to him by this Board.
The Health Inspector shall keep a record, in
a book provided for that purpose, of all complaints which may be made
to him, from time to time, respecting violations of any section of
this chapter or any of the ordinances or rules and regulations of
this Board, containing the name and address of the complainant, the
name against whom such complaint shall be made and the nature of the
complaint and the disposition of the matter.
He should keep, in a book provided for that
purpose, a record of all cases reported to this Board of all infectious,
communicable and contagious diseases, which book shall be subject
to the inspection of the Board, and shall transmit the facts stated
therein to the State Board of Health at Trenton, as the law prescribes,
and he shall submit an annual report to the Board of Commissioners
at its last meeting held in December.
