No person shall place or put in, upon or over any street, sidewalk, or any part thereof, any post, sign, porch, shed or awning of any kind whatsoever, except under the permission of the Board of Commissioners. No permit for a shed or awning shall be granted unless seven feet clear space shall be left above the sidewalk.[1]

No person shall build or construct any bay window, store window or other window which shall extend more than one foot into any public street or sidewalk.

No person shall build, construct or continue any areaway, cellar opening or entrance over the line of any public street, or sidewalk, without providing the same with an iron cover resting level with the street when closed, nor build or construct or continue such areaway, cellar opening or entrance more than three feet over the line of any public street.

At no time may any person obstruct any public sidewalk, alley, street, avenue, boulevard, road, or other right-of-way within the Town for the purpose of utilizing any fireworks and/or sparkling devices and novelties as defined in N.J.S.A. 21:2-2 thereupon.
