It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, partnership or corporation maintaining and operating in the Town of West New York an automobile repair shop or establishment for the purpose of dismantling, repairing or painting motor vehicles and other vehicles to use the sidewalks or street or public highways in front of said shop or establishment, or in the vicinity thereof, for the purpose of dismantling, repairing, painting, parking or storing in any way whatsoever at any time any motor vehicle or other vehicle, or any part thereof.

Any person, firm, partnership or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties provided for in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article I, and each and every day in which said violation exists shall constitute a separate violation.

In addition, all persons or entities are prohibited from dismantling, repairing or servicing motor vehicles on the public streets, whether for commercial or private purposes, except for emergency repairs or minor adjustments, and in such cases, any dirt, litter, grease, oil, gasoline or other matter will be thoroughly cleaned promptly.
