Borough of Sea Bright, NJ Article II Chief Financial Officer

§ 31-6 Position created; appointment.

There is hereby created within the Borough of Sea Bright, the position of Chief Financial Officer who shall be appointed by the Mayor and Council and serve at the pleasure of the governing body. The Chief Financial Officer may, but need not, be a person who is also employed by the Borough in another capacity.

§ 31-7 Powers and duties.

The Chief Financial Officer shall carry out the responsibilities set forth in P.L. 1947, c. 151 (N.J.S.A. 52:27BB-26 et seq.).

§ 31-8 Compensation.

Compensation for the Chief Financial Officer shall be as provided in the annual Salary Ordinance.[1]

Former Art. IV, Professional Legal Services, adopted 4-7-1992 and amended 12-15-1998 by Ord. No. 94-98, which immediately followed this article, was repealed at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II).
