Should any licensed establishment choose to
employ private security to assist in conforming to laws, rules and
regulations, such licensee must:
A. Remain compliant with N.J.A.C. 13:2-23.31 and N.J.S.A.
33:1-26.1, regarding employment of police officers.
B. Prohibit such security from possessing or using any
weapons, including but not limited to guns, nightsticks or chemical
agents.
C. Require such security to be attired in uniforms clearly
distinguished from Sea Bright official police attire.
D. Require such security to be easily and clearly identifiable
as private security.
E. Prohibit such security from wearing any clothing marked
"police" or displaying on their person any police insignia.
