The plan to insure the Township employees for medical and dental
expenses and elected Township officials for medical expenses shall
be known as the "Township of Grosse Ile Employee Benefit Plan." The
elected officials of the Township may elect to participate in the
medical portion of the program provided said elected official pays
his or her premium which shall consist of the cost allocated to each
Township employee.
The Plan Administrator and Plan Sponsor shall be the Township
of Grosse Ile.
The Township Board of Trustees shall hire a Plan Supervisor
to provide consulting services to the Township in connection with
the operation of the Plan and performing such other functions, including
processing and payment of claims, as may be delegated to it by the
Township.
The plan year shall begin on April 1 and end on March 31.
The Township shall adopt the specific contents of the Plan by
resolution and make amendments thereto from time to time as the Township
deems necessary. The Plan and any amendments thereto that have been
previously adopted by the Township are hereby incorporated by reference
as though fully set forth herein.
