[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Selectmen

CHARTER REVISION
Effective with the general election held in November 2013, the
Town changed to a Town Council/Town Manager form of government. According
to Charter § 11.04, any references in Town ordinances to
the "First Selectman" or to the "Board of Selectmen" shall now be
deemed to refer to the "Town Manager" or the "Town Council," as appropriate.

Authority to participate in regional agencies — See

The Board of Selectmen, pursuant to § 4-124e
of the Connecticut General Statutes, hereby elect to join a regional
organization known as the Connecticut River Valley Council of Elected
Officials, with those powers and for those purposes set forth in §§ 4-124c
through 4-124h of the Connecticut General Statutes as the same may
be amended from time to time.

The representative to the Connecticut River
Valley Council of Elected Officials shall be the Mayor of the Town
of Cromwell.
