The office of First Selectman of the Town of Guilford shall be, effective
October 4, 1955, a full-time position with a minimum salary of $6,000 per
annum.
The First Selectman shall hold no other position in the Town of Guilford
to which is attached a remuneration, salary or wage paid in whole or in part
by the Town of Guilford. The First Selectman of the Town of Guilford shall
not directly or indirectly furnish any material or equipment to said town
or be directly or indirectly employed to do any work for said town except
his or her official duties.
