The following point system will be used to identify the amount that each member of the Ridgefield First-Aid and Ambulance Corps will receive as their quarterly shift-based stipend allowance:

Being part of responding crew to a general call

Qualifying members will receive $38 per point and $19 per 1/2 point, which shall be paid quarterly.

In addition, the officers will receive an additional bonus allowance in accord with their rank, to be paid quarterly as follows:

Volunteer First-Aid/EMT and Ambulance Corps member emeritus shall be granted to any volunteer First-Aid/EMT member who has completed and retired after 20 years of service as a full member of the Ridgefield First-Aid/EMT and Volunteer Ambulance Corps and who has also attained the age of 55 years. As a measure of the Borough's gratitude for his or her service, a Volunteer First-Aid/EMT and Ambulance Corps member emeritus shall be entitled to receive a yearly allowance of $750 for each 20 years served. The right of a Volunteer First-Aider/EMT and Ambulance Corps member emeritus to receive the payment set forth in this section shall cease upon the member's death.
