All officers or employees of the Borough who are required by statute or by ordinances or resolutions of the Mayor and Council shall furnish a surety company bond, in such sum as the Mayor and Council may determine, conditioned for the faithful performance of their duties imposed by law or by the Mayor and Council. The premium for such bond or bonds shall be paid by the Mayor and Council.
It shall be the duty of every officer or employs who is authorized to receive or collect moneys belonging to the Borough to make a report to the Mayor and Council, at the first regular monthly meeting in each month, of the moneys collected and the disposition thereof, and also of such other matters and things as the Mayor and Council may by resolution from time to time direct.
All fees, fines or moneys paid to or coming into the hands of any officer or employee shall be received and held for the use of the Borough, unless otherwise provided by statute, and shall be forthwith, after receipt, paid over to the Borough Collector, who shall give his receipt therefor, and said Collector shall make a report thereof at the first regular monthly meeting in each month.
The Recorder shall make a report to the Mayor and Council, at the first regular monthly meeting in each month, of the number of complaints received by him, the disposition thereof, the amount of fines imposed, the amount of costs imposed, the disposition of the moneys received by him and such other matters as the Mayor and Council may by resolution from time to time request.
