It is hereby established as the policy of the
Borough of Ridgefield that, from this point forward, no Construction
Official shall be appointed by the Borough unless and until said Construction
Official represents to the Borough that said official maintains other
employment as a building department official in no more than one other
municipality, and pledges that throughout the course of his employment
as Construction Official with the Borough of Ridgefield said official
will not work in more than one other municipality as a building department
official.
It is further established that the policy of
the Borough of Ridgefield going forward shall be that no person shall
serve as Zoning Officer of the Borough of Ridgefield unless and until
such person shall register for, and complete, within one year of said
appointment, the minimum courses prescribed by state law for members
of zoning boards of adjustment and planning boards.
