A. 
No vehicle having a carrying capacity of three tons or more shall hereafter be driven or operated through or over Pleasant View Terrace, from the westerly line of Broad Avenue to its westerly terminus.
B. 
No vehicle having a carrying capacity of three tons or more shall hereafter be driven or operated through or over Ridgefield Terrace, from the Borough line westerly to Bergen Boulevard.

A. 
There shall be placed a sign in a conspicuous location at the intersection of Broad Avenue South and Pleasant View Terrace, and at the intersection of Pleasant View Terrace and the easterly line of land of the Northern Railroad of New Jersey, reading HEAVY TRUCKING NOT ALLOWED. This sign shall be so placed and shall bear further inscription to indicate that it relates to Pleasant View Terrace.
B. 
There shall be placed two signs reading "3 Ton Limit" in conspicuous locations, one on the southeasterly corner of the intersection of Ridgefield Terrace and Bergen Boulevard and a second sign for westbound traffic on the northerly side of Ridgefield Terrace, just west of the Borough line. A third sign stating DO NOT BLOCK INTERSECTION shall be placed on the northeasterly corner of the intersection of Ridgefield Terrace and Bergen Boulevard.

Any person found guilty of violating this article of the Code of the Borough of Ridgefield shall be subject to a penalty consisting of fine or imprisonment, or both, subject to the discretion of the Judge, the maximum of which shall be the maximum fine or term of imprisonment permitted to be imposed by the court having jurisdiction over the violation of this article of the Code of the Borough of Ridgefield; provided, however, that the fine shall not be less than $100 nor more than $2,000 per offense and the prison term shall not exceed 90 days in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:49-5. Due consideration shall be given to scheduled mandatory fines for comparable motor vehicle offenses pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:1-1 et seq.
