The following fees shall be charged by the Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Ridgefield and the Planning Board of the Borough of Ridgefield, respectively:
A. 
Application for a variance on property to be used for a one-, two- or three-family house: $35.
B. 
Application for a variance on property used or to be used for a multifamily house, consisting of four to 10 units: $150.
C. 
Application for a variance on property used or to be used for a multifamily house, consisting of 11 or more units: $250.
D. 
Application for a variance on property for business, commerce and/or industry or any part to be used for these purposes, having a land size of less than 10,000 square feet: $150.
E. 
Application for a variance on property for business, commerce and/or industry or any part to be used for these purposes, having a land size above 10,000 square feet: $250.
Applicants shall be responsible for payment of all necessary publication and notice fees. Where either the Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Ridgefield or the Planning Board of the Borough of Ridgefield deem it necessary to have an expert's opinion to enable them to render an educated and efficient decision in any matter before them, they shall have the right to secure such expert opinion. If the cost of such expert opinion exceeds $100, which $100 shall be paid for by the respective Board, the applicant shall pay any sums in excess of $100 relating to the cost of securing such expert opinion.
All fees shall be paid upon the submission of the application, and no application shall be deemed filed unless accompanied by full payment of all fees.
