During the time that construction is undertaken
on any site, the property owner shall see to it that a cyclone-type
fence, at least six feet to eight feet in height, is erected and maintained
around the perimeter of the property.
During the time that construction is undertaken
on any site, an area from the curbline in for a distance of at least
10 feet shall be kept clear, clean, passable and in safe condition.
In addition, the sidewalks in front of any building lot shall be kept
clear, open and passable at all times. If sidewalk slabs are removed
for any purpose, they are to be filled with gravel and kept level,
safe and passable. The property owner/developer shall be required
to maintain the roadway clean and free from dirt and debris generated
by the construction.
During construction, all garbage, litter and
debris, including, but not limited to, paper, food waste, food stuffs
and all other debris, shall be bagged and removed from the construction
site on a daily basis.

Whenever, due to the nature of construction
on a particular property, the property will not be serviced by permanent
toilet facilities for more than a period of 48 hours, the owner shall
provide temporary toilet facilities, to be located on the property,
according to the following terms and conditions:
A. Temporary toilet facilities utilized in any residential
zone shall not be located within any required side yard.
B. Temporary toilet facilities utilized in any residential
zone and located within a required front yard shall have a minimum
setback of five feet from the front property line, and a minimum setback
of five feet from the side property lines.
C. Temporary toilet facilities utilized in any residential
zone and located within a required rear yard shall have a minimum
setback of five feet from the rear and side property lines.
D. Temporary toilet facilities utilized in all zone districts
other than residential zones shall be located in the rear yard area
and shall conform to the setback requirements for accessory structures.
E. The door to each temporary toilet facility shall face
towards the interior of the lot and shall be directed away from adjacent
properties and the public right-of-way.
F. Each temporary toilet facility shall contain a locking
device suitable to secure the facility and prohibit entry when same
is not in use.
G. Temporary toilet facilities at construction sites
shall be locked in order to prohibit entrance at all times when there
is no construction activity on the site.
H. Temporary toilet facilities shall be kept in a clean
and sanitary condition and are subject to all applicable health ordinances,
statutes and regulations.
I. Before installing a temporary toilet facility required
by this section, the owner, or a person acting on behalf of the owner,
shall apply to the Building Department of the Borough of Ridgefield
for a permit to install such temporary toilet. The fee for such permit
shall be $50.
