This code shall be known and shall be cited as the "Personnel Practices
Code of the Department of Health of the Borough of Ridgefield."
Department of Health employees are recruited, hired, evaluated, supervised
and terminated by the Health Officer/Administrator, subject to the Board and
under mandate from the autonomous Board of Health.
No person employed by or seeking employment with the Department of Health
will be discriminated against because of race, color, sex, sexual orientation,
religion, national origin or political affiliation. Handicapped persons who,
with reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of their
job shall receive consideration with other applicants or employees.
