The normal workweek for full-time employees shall consist of 35 hours,
exclusive of lunch time, with the normal working day commencing at 9:00 a.m.
and terminating at 5:00 p.m., subject to the discretion of the Health Officer/Administrator
and in order to meet the needs of the Department.
No full-time employee may accrue more than 10 hours of compensatory
time off, nor shall take more than five hours of compensatory time off in
any one week unless previously approved by the Health Officer/Administrator.
The Health Officer Administrator shall approve the scheduling of compensatory
time off which shall be taken, if possible, within two weeks of the time earned.
No part-time employee may accrue more than 20 hours of compensatory time off,
nor shall take more than 10 hours of compensatory time off in any one week,
unless previously approved by the Health Officer/Administrator. The Health
Officer/Administrator shall approve the scheduling of compensatory time off
which shall be taken, if possible, within two weeks of the time earned. Part-time
employees may use their earned compensatory time off for sick leave periods
not to exceed 10 days per calendar year.
