Before any traveling carnival, circus, outdoor
show or exhibition of any kind or nature to be performed outdoors
within the limits of the Borough of Ridgefield shall take place, the
person in charge of said traveling carnival, circus, outdoor show
or performance shall comply with the following regulations of the
Board of Health of the Borough of Ridgefield:
A. Adequate toilet facilities must be provided before
the outdoor carnival, circus, show or performance located upon the
site, lot tract or parcel of ground upon which said performance is
to take place. At least one (1) temporary portable toilet for each
twenty (20) persons of each sex must be provided. Said toilets shall
be so constructed as to prevent the entrance of flies.
B. All garbage must be kept in proper watertight cans
and must be removed at least once each and every day, and more often
if required.
C. The showground must be maintained and kept in a sanitary
condition. A deposit of one hundred dollars ($100.) shall be made
with the Clerk of the Board of Health of the Borough of Ridgefield
as security for the faithful observance of these requirements, and
said deposit shall be returned upon the certificate of the Health
Officer of the Borough of Ridgefield that said requirements have been
complied with.
D. All food and drink displayed for sale on the showgrounds
shall be adequately protected from dust, dirt, flies and any and all
contamination. All dishes, cups, knives, forks, plates and spoons
used in connection with the sale of food or drink shall be of a single
service type.
