The Town Board of the Town of North Hempstead, New York, hereby elects to enact a targeted retirement incentive program, as authorized by Chapter 12, Laws of 1995, as amended.
The commencement date of the retirement incentive
program shall be August 1, 1995. The open period shall be 90 days
in duration.
The eligible titles for the targeted retirement
incentive program are:

The additional retirement incentive for the eligible employees in the eligible titles shall be as set forth in Chapter 12 of the Laws of 1995, as amended.
Any position, other than a position supported by special revenue funds, vacated as a result of an eligible employee in an eligible title retiring pursuant to this targeted retirement incentive program shall be eliminated, except as provided in Section 8(b) of Chapter 12 of the Laws of 1995, as amended.
