A Pool Advisory Committee be and is hereby established
for and in the Township of Maplewood.
The duties of the Pool Advisory Committee shall
be to:
A. Review the budget and capital improvement plans for
the township pool and pool property and to report to the Township
Committee.
B. Review and make recommendations to the Township Committee
regarding pool ordinances, resolutions and rules and regulations.
C. Provide an annual assessment and report concerning
the pool operations to the Township Committee within 45 days of the
end of the pool season.
D. Conduct special duties, studies, etc., as may be directed
by the Township Committee or the Recreation Director.

A. The Township Committee shall appoint 15 residents
of the Township of Maplewood to serve as the Pool Advisory Committee.
The term of office shall be three years unless otherwise indicated.
All terms shall expire December 31 of the last year of the appointee’s
term. The initial appointments shall be designated as follows:
B. The Director of the Recreation, Parks and Cultural
Affairs of the Township of Maplewood shall serve on the Pool Advisory
Committee (ex officio) and as a nonvoting member.
C. The Township
Committee liaison to this Committee shall be nonvoting.

The Pool Advisory Committee shall select a Chair and Vice Chair
from among its voting members on an annual basis. The Chair shall
be responsible for the scheduling and conducting of meetings of the
Pool Advisory Committee and for reporting to the Township Committee.
