Pursuant to § 485-b of the Real Property
Tax Law and Subdivision 7 thereof, the Village of Rouses Point shall
and does reduce the allowable exemption permitted so that no real
property tax exemption is and shall be allowed to any commercial,
business or industrial activities. The Village of Rouses Point has
heretofore reduced said exemption to zero pursuant to duly passed
resolutions of August 2, 1976. It is the intent of this article to
continue with the reduction of said exemptions and to keep the same
at zero.
Pursuant to § 485-b of the Real Property
Tax Law and Subdivision 7 thereof, the exemption table as set forth
in said § 485-b shall be and is hereby amended to read percentage
of exemption as being "zero" and so as to allow no exemption for any
real property tax for any commercial, business or industrial activities
of any nature.
