No person or persons shall drive, push or propel a vehicle, carriage, hack, pushcart, wagon or bicycle upon or through any of the public streets, highways or sidewalks of the Village of Valley Stream during the period from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise, unless such vehicle, carriage, hack, pushcart, wagon or bicycle shall be provided a lamp showing light visible for a distance of not less than 100 feet to the front and rear.

Any person violating any provisions of § 93-72 shall be liable for a fine not to exceed $45.
All local laws, ordinances, or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this article are hereby repealed; provided, however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency, and in all other respects this article shall be cumulative of other local laws and/or ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this article.
If any section or provision or parts thereof in this article shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity of this article as a whole or any other section or provision thereof.
This article shall take effect immediately.
