Qualified members of the Police Department of
the City of Clifton may perform fingerprinting service for members
of the general public, said service to be provided in that area set
aside for the purpose of fingerprinting in the Police Department at
900 Clifton Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey. Fingerprint cards will be
provided by the party requesting the fingerprinting service.

A. The fingerprinting service as set forth in §
227-1 hereinabove shall be available at the Police Department of the City of Clifton during the following hours by appointment only:
(1) Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
(2) Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
B. The services as provided during these hours shall
be subject to the priority of demands of Police Department personnel
for providing official fingerprinting services, such as for the booking
of prisoners.

A. The fee for the fingerprinting service to be provided
for members of the general public shall be $25 per fingerprint card.

B. No fee shall be paid for fingerprinting services when
said services are required in conjunction with the criminal justice
system, the Casino Control Commission, police, special police and
fire public safety applicants and others as may be required from time
to time by ordinance.
The hours that the within services are to be
provided and the fees to be charged for the services rendered shall
be posted in a prominent place in the main lobby of City Hall and
in the reception area of the Police Department of the City of Clifton.
