A. 
It shall be and is hereby made unlawful for any person or persons to conduct, carry on or be engaged in the business of auctioneer, hawker, peddler, traveling shows, circuses, concerts or exhibitions, itinerant vendors of merchandise and of medicines, in the Borough of Haddonfield aforesaid, without first having applied to and obtained therefor a license from the Clerk of said Borough, who is hereby authorized, under the Seal of the said Borough, to issue a license therefor in writing upon the payment of the fees hereinafter fixed.
B. 
Every applicant shall submit to be fingerprinted by the Haddonfield Police Department.

A. 
The fees to be paid by any auctioneer, hawker, entertainer, travelling show, circus held in tents or other temporary structures, shall be the sum of $10 for each show. The fees for carousels or other appliances of outdoor amusement for profit shall be $10 for one day or part of a day. The fees to be paid for concerts, exhibitions, moving picture shows or theatrical performances shall be the sum of $10 per exhibition or performance.
B. 
There shall be no fees for events sponsored by the Borough of Haddonfield, Haddonfield Board of Education, the Business Improvement District (Partnership for Haddonfield, LLC) and for nonprofit organizations.
Each and every person to whom a license is granted as aforesaid shall at all times, while in the exercise of the privilege of such license, have in his custody such certificate of license and shall exhibit the same upon demand therefor by any marshal of the said Borough.
If any person or persons shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter, said person or persons shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, § 1-14.
