A.
There is hereby established in the Borough of Haddonfield
a State Uniform Construction Code enforcing agency, to be known as the "Haddonfield
Construction Code Office," consisting of a Construction Code Official, Building
Subcode Official, Plumbing Subcode Official, Fire Subcode Officials for such
additional subcodes as the Construction Commission of the Department of Community
Affairs, State of New Jersey, shall hereinafter adopt as part of the State
Uniform Construction Code. The Construction Code Official shall be the chief
administrator of the enforcing agency.
B.
Each official position created in Subsection A hereof shall be filled by a person qualified for such position pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:27D-119 et seq., and the regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, provided that, in lieu of any particular subcode official, an on-site inspection agency may be retained by contract pursuant to the aforementioned regulations. More than one such official position may be held by the same person, provided that such person is qualified pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:27D-119 et seq, and the regulations promulgated thereunder, to hold each such position.
C.
The public shall have the right to do business with the
enforcing agency at one office location except for emergencies and unforeseen
or unavoidable circumstances.
The Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Haddonfield establishes
the Camden County Board of Appeals to hear all appeals from decisions of the
enforcing agencies.

A.
The Borough of Haddonfield hereby adopts the fee structure
of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Divisions of Regulatory
Affairs for the State Uniform Construction Code, as authorized by New Jersey
regulations.
B.
The above hereby incorporates N.J.A.C. 5:23-4.20 as currently
in place and any future amendments and/or appropriate regulatory provision
pertinent to the fee structure.
C.
The above fee schedule is amended to set a minimum fee
of $40 for any permit issued for any subcode.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, § 1-14, and each violation of the provisions of this chapter and each day the same is violated shall be deemed and taken to be a separate and distinct offense.
