Dorchester County, MD Article IV Nonpayment of County Taxes

§ 144-11 Penalty imposed.

For the prompt collection of all taxes due the County Commissioners of Dorchester County, there shall be charged against all county taxes not paid by January 1 of any tax year a penalty of 1% according to the authority vested in the County Commissioners of Dorchester County by Article 25, § 3(h), of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume).
