Real estate registry — See Ch. 211.
All persons, firms or corporations who own real property in the City of Greensburg before February 15, 1979, shall notify the City Treasurer of the City of Greensburg on or before February 15, 1979, of the names and street addresses of all tenants occupying any real property owned by such person, firm or corporation as a residence in the City of Greensburg.
All persons, firms or corporations who own real property in the City of Greensburg after February 15, 1979, shall notify the City Treasurer of the City of Greensburg within fifteen (15) days of the date any residential tenant vacates any real property or any new residential tenant occupies real property in the City of Greensburg owned by such person, firm or corporation, giving the name and street address of each such tenant vacating or newly occupying real property.
Any person, firm or corporation owning real property in the City of Greensburg who fails or refuses to comply with the provisions of this chapter, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than six hundred dollars ($600.) or be imprisoned for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day the violation continues shall be a separate offense.
