[Adopted 9-24-1973]
Pursuant to and in compliance with the authority granted by
the State of Connecticut in Public Act 155 (1972) entitled the "Inland
Wetland and Watercourses Act," as amended, the Conservation Commission
of the City of Norwalk is hereby designated as the Inland Wetland
Agency.
Said Commission shall have all the powers and responsibilities
authorized under said Public Act 155 (1972), as amended, and under
Public Act 571 (1973), including the right to promulgate such regulations
in conformity with the regulations promulgated by the State Commissioner
of Environmental Protection as are necessary to protect the wetlands
and watercourses within its territorial limits.
