No permanent installation of a satellite dish antenna larger
than eighteen (18) inches in diameter may be commenced without the
issuance of a permit for such installation, signed by the Building
Inspector of the City of Parkville prior to such installation. No
fee will be charged for this permit.
A satellite dish eighteen (18) inches in diameter or smaller may be installed without a building permit and does not have to conform to Section
525.020 "Standards".

Permits may be issued only for installations meeting the following
standards:
One (1) satellite dish antenna may be located at grade for private
or commercial reception, provided the maximum cross dimension of the
dish shall not exceed twelve (12) feet and the highest point of the
dish or structure shall not be more than fourteen (14) feet above
grade, and further, provided that no dish antenna or portion thereof
may be located in a front yard or in any side yard on the street side
of a corner lot, or closer than ten (10) feet to any other lot line.
Decorative landscaping to conceal the base is required.

A satellite dish antenna may be placed on a lot for demonstration
or other temporary purpose without the issuance of a permit, provided
such installation shall not remain on the premises more than seventy-two
(72) hours and shall not be placed in a public street or alley.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the rules of
this Chapter shall be subject to a fine of not less than fifty dollars
($50.00), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for such violation,
and each day that such violation continues after the first arrest
of such person, or agent of a partnership or corporation, may be deemed
to be a separate offense.
