The Mayor and Board of Aldermen are hereby authorized on behalf
of the City of Parkville to establish a Farmers Market for the promotion
of trade and commerce in the City of Parkville pursuant to 79.450.7
RSMo; said Market is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens
of the City of Parkville.

A. The Mayor
may appoint with the consent of the Board of Aldermen a manager of
the Farmers Market. The manager shall have the following duties:
1. Liaison
between the City and sellers.
2. Enforcement
of all rules and regulations established by the Board of Aldermen
for the operations of the market, including hours of operation and
collection of space rental fees. City Hall staff may also collect
these fees in cooperation with the manager.
B. The Board
of Aldermen may contract with a private operator to manage the Farmers
Market.
