No person shall hereafter possess, own, maintain or use, nor shall any owner knowingly permit another person to possess, own maintain or use any livestock within the city limits of the City of Leadington, except as otherwise provided in Section 205.160 herein. The term "livestock" as used herein shall include horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, mules and donkeys or other farm animals, regardless of whether such animals shall be kept as pets or for commercial or other purposes; provided, however, that the term "livestock" shall not include dogs, cats or other kinds of pets not specifically listed hereinabove.

This Article shall not prohibit any person from continuing to possess, own, maintain or use such livestock within the City of Leadington as are located within the City limits at the time of passage of this Article; provided, however that existing livestock may not be substituted or replaced by other or additional livestock, nor shall any offspring of existing livestock be kept within City limits. No livestock, once removed from the City limits of Leadington, shall be permitted to thereafter be kept within City limits.

Any person violating the provisions of this Article shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as set out in Section 100.220 of this Code. The term "person" as used in this Article shall include any individual, partnership, company or corporation.
