There is hereby created the position of Town Clerk in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:9-133 et seq. and the term of office will be in accordance with same. The Town Clerk shall be appointed by the Mayor and Council.
The Town Clerk shall perform all duties required of the office as required by law. In addition to the statutory duties, the Town Clerk shall perform such duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Mayor and Council and/or the Town Administrator.
The salary of the Town Clerk shall be as set forth in the annual Salary Ordinance.
