Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-141 et seq., there
is hereby created the office Town Tax Collector. The office of Town
Tax Collector shall be filled by appointment as provided by law. The
term of the Tax Collector shall be three years from the first day
of January next following the Tax Collector's appointment.
The Town Tax Collector, in addition to the statutory duties,
shall perform such duties as are assigned from time to time by the
Mayor and Council and/or the Town Administrator.
The salary of the Town Tax Collector shall be as set forth in
the annual Salary Ordinance.
