Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-30 et seq. there
is hereby created the position of Purchasing Agent. The Purchasing
Agent shall be appointed by the Mayor and Council.
The term of office of the Purchasing Agent shall be in accordance
with N.J.S.A. 40A:9-30.
In addition to the statutory duties of the office, the Purchasing
Agent shall perform such duties as are assigned from time to time
by the Mayor and Council, the Town Administrator and/or the Town Chief
Financial Officer.
The salary of the Purchasing Agent shall be as set forth in
the annual Salary Ordinance.
