A Municipal Court for the Borough of Wildwood Crest, in the
County of Cape May, New Jersey, is established pursuant to the provisions
of Chapter 293 of the Laws of 1993, as amended and supplemented.
The name of the Municipal Court shall be the Municipal Court
of the Borough of Wildwood Crest in the County of Cape May, New Jersey.
The Municipal Court shall have a seal which shall bear the impress
of the name of the court.

There shall be a Municipal Court Judge of the said Municipal
Court, who shall be appointed by the Board of Commissioners of said
Borough and who shall serve for a term of three years from the date
of the appointment and until a successor is appointed and qualified.

The Municipal Court Judge shall receive an annual salary as
shall be determined by ordinance each year, to be paid in the same
manner as the salaries of other municipal officers are paid, or pursuant
to a shared services agreement as authorized by the Uniform Shared
Services and Consolidation Act, N.J.S.A. 40:65-1 et seq, as amended
and supplemented, and which shall be in lieu of all fees, costs and
any other allowances whatsoever.
Said Municipal Court and the Municipal Court Judge thereof shall
have, possess and exercise all the functions, powers, duties and jurisdiction
conferred by the provisions of Chapter 293 of the Laws of 1993, as
amended and supplemented, or by any other law.
There shall be a Municipal Court Administrator, who shall be
appointed by the Director of the Department of Public Safety and who
shall be subject to the Civil Service laws of the State of New Jersey.
Such Municipal Court Administrator shall receive the salary as established
by ordinance each year.

The Municipal Court shall be held in the Borough of Wildwood
Crest, or such other municipality as may be determined and approved
by resolution of the governing body pursuant to a shared services
agreement as authorized by the Uniform Shared Services and Consolidation
Act, N.J.S.A. 40:65-1 et seq, as amended and supplemented at such
hour or hours as shall be designated by said Municipal Court Judge
and as is required to complete the court calendar, subject to the
rules applicable to municipal courts.
