Borough of Wildwood Crest, NJ Chapter 30 Elections

§ 30-1 Form of government.

The Borough of Wildwood Crest operates under a non-partisan commission form of government pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:70-1 et seq. (The Walsh Act), with elections held in May pursuant to the Uniform Non-Partisan Elections Law (N.J.S.A. 40:45-1 et seq.).

§ 30-2 Authorization to change date of regular municipal elections.

In accordance with and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:45-7, the regular municipal election for the Borough of Wildwood Crest shall be held on the date of the general election in November.

§ 30-3 Extension of term of office of existing Board of Commissioners.

In accordance with and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:45-7.1 and 40:75-2(a), the term of office of the Board of Commissioners holding office at the time of adoption of this chapter (January 25, 2012) shall be extended until the beginning of the term of the person elected to that office on the date of the general election in November.
