A. 
For the purposes of this section, the term "truck" is defined as follows: a motor vehicle designed, used, or maintained primarily for the transportation of property, provided that as used herein, the term does not include such a vehicle weighing less than 11,000 pounds owned by a natural person that is used solely for non-commercial purposes.
B. 
No trucks shall be permitted on the following roads, streets and highways within Lower Windsor Township:

C. 
It shall henceforth be unlawful for any person or persons to operate, drive, move or park, or for the owner or owners to cause or knowingly permit to be operated, driven, moved or parked any truck on each or any of the roads, streets, or highways within Lower Windsor Township specified in Subsection B of this section.
D. 
Notwithstanding the provisions of Subsection C of this section, local deliveries or pickups of items to persons residing on the roads, streets, and highways enumerated in Subsection B of this section may be made by any truck.
E. 
The provisions of this section shall not apply to fire engines or other firefighting, rescue, ambulance, or police vehicles; snow removal equipment and trucks owned, used, or hired by Lower Windsor Township; road building and maintenance trucks owned, used, or hired by Lower Windsor Township; or to any trucks or equipment for the pickup of trash or refuse.
F. 
Any person or persons violating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding before any District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine of $50 and the costs of such proceedings.
G. 
The Board of Supervisors of Lower Windsor Township is hereby empowered to amend Subsection B of this section from time to time to add or delete roads, streets, or highways upon which trucks shall not be permitted to operate.
