All employees, other than waiters, waitresses, bar backs, bus persons, cooks, kitchen help and other persons performing strictly restaurant-related functions, who sell, mix, process, prepare or serve alcoholic beverages, working on licensed premises shall, within 30 days after their employment commences, register their names and addresses with the Sea Bright Police Department. Every employee must adhere to all requirements set for in §§
57-27 and
57-28 of this article. In addition to the foregoing, every licensee shall furnish the Police Department with the names and addresses of all employees who are required to be registered within 24 hours after the commencement of any such employee’s employment and shall notify its employees of their obligation to register with the Sea Bright Police Department as set forth above. Every employee applicant must meet all requirements as outlined in the State of New Jersey Alcoholic Beverage Control Handbook and the Code of the Borough of Sea Bright.

Every employee required to register with the
Sea Bright Police Department shall complete an ABC application card,
shall be fingerprinted and have those fingerprints sent to the New
Jersey State Police, shall be photographed and shall be required to
carry the Borough of Sea Bright alcoholic beverage handlers identification
card at all times while performing his or her duties as outlined under
this chapter of the Code of the Borough of Sea Bright.

Every employee registered with the Sea Bright Police Department, as required by §
57-26, shall pay the following fees:
A. The amount charged by any state or federal agency
for a fingerprint inquiry, where law permits such an inquiry, by certified
check or money order payable to that agency.
B. The amount of $25 be paid to the Borough of Sea Bright
for all registration and processing of alcoholic beverage handlers
identification cards.
Any license issued under this chapter may be
suspended or revoked by the governing body for the violation of any
provision of this chapter or the violation of any of the provisions
of N.J.S.A. 33:1-1 to 33:1-96 and the rules and regulations of the
Director of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control of the State
of New Jersey. Proceedings for the suspension or revocation of a license
shall be in accordance with the provisions of the statute cited, by
service of a five-day notice of charges preferred against the licensee.
The licensee shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity for a hearing.
Suspension or revocation shall carry the penalties and prohibitions
provided for in the statute cited and shall be in addition to any
other penalty imposed for a violation of this chapter.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalties as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
I, unless a more severe penalty is permitted by specific law or such other penalty permitted or recommended by the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
