A. Persons using the radio-controlled model flying field (RCMFF) shall be required to obtain the following prior to utilizing the field, unless temporarily exempt from obtaining a permit under Article
II, Section 2, of the Mustang Field RC Flyers Bylaws:
(1) An
annual permit issued by the City of El Reno and an agreement of understanding
to abide by posted field operation rules, Mustang Field RC Flyers
Bylaws, valid for 12 months from the date of issue;
(2) Proof
of liability insurance for personal and property damage in the amount
of $1,000,000 per occurrence;
(3) Proof
of appropriate FCC license, if applicable (remote control operated
in Ham operator bandwidth).
B. All aircraft and remote-control consoles must be FCC
compliant and properly stickered.
C. A use permit shall be issued upon proof of the listed
requirements and payment of the permit fee as determined by resolution.
The annual permit shall be in effect for the period of one year from
the date of issuance.
D. All users
operating a remote-control aircraft are required to be in possession
of the City-issued permit and proof of liability insurance or proof
of good standing with the AMA while using the RCMFF.
E. Daylight
hours are determined to be between 1/2 hour after sunrise and 1/2
hour before sunset as listed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration.
