A.Â
There may be appointed a Senior Sanitarian.
B.Â
The Senior Sanitarian shall perform such duties as may
be assigned to him by the Public Health Physician, City Manager or Health
Officer. He shall aid in the enforcement of all state and all local sanitary
laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. He shall perform such additional
duties as may be prescribed from time to time by the Health Department. The
Senior Sanitarian shall supervise the work of the sanitarians, and he shall
investigate and rectify complaints and violations.
A.Â
The position and employment of Sanitarian in the Health
Department is hereby created and established for the efficient and orderly
administration of the Health Department. The position and employment shall
be in addition to such offices, positions and employments existing under charter,
statute or ordinance.
B.Â
The Sanitarian shall:
(1)Â
Perform such duties as may be assigned to him by the
Senior Sanitarian, Public Health Physician, City Manager or Health Officer.
(2)Â
Aid in the enforcement of all state sanitary laws, local
sanitary laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
(3)Â
Perform such additional duties as may be prescribed from
time to time by the Health Department.
