The position and employment of Public Health Physician in the Health Department is hereby created and established for the efficient and orderly administration of the Health Department. The position and employment shall be in addition to such offices, positions and employments existing under charter, statute or ordinance.
The Public Health Physician shall hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine and a license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey.

A. 
The Public Health Physician shall render such medical services as from time to time may be required by the Health Department in carrying out the various public health programs under its direction, including but not limited to the following:
(1) 
Clinic physician of the Child Health Conference.
(2) 
Clinic physician of the Child Immunization Program.
(3) 
Clinic physician for the Blood Lead Program.
(4) 
Staff physician for employee immunizations (hepatitis B, influenza, pneumonia, etc.).
B. 
He shall render such guidance and advice concerning medical matters as may be required from time to time by the Board of Health or the Health Department.
