If a participant's status as an employee of
the Town is terminated or interrupted for more than a twelve-month
period, except in the case of a leave of absence, and thereafter he/she
resumes his/her status as an employee, he/she shall be deemed to be
a new employee from the date of such reemployment or resumption, and
his/her period of employment shall be counted from such date. This
change is retroactive to July 1, 2022.
