When topography dictates that a pumping station is
needed to convey effluent from the proposed development to the public
sewage system, the developer shall, at his own expense, install such
pump station. If, in reviewing the plans of the proposed development,
the Authority finds that areas beyond the limits of the proposed development
could be served by the aforesaid pump station, the Authority may require
the developer to include such area in the design capacity of the station,
without cost to the Town. If the design indicates that the pumps and
associated equipment needed to serve the enlarged areas will cause
additional cost to the developer, the Authority may negotiate with
the developer as to the distribution of the costs of such pumping
station.
