The dumping of garbage, ashes and rubbish in
the Borough of Kinnelon is hereby prohibited, and there shall be no
collection of the same on Sundays.

All garbage, ashes and rubbish in the Borough
of Kinnelon shall be kept in watertight containers provided with tight-fitting
covers. The use of plastic bags for the storage of garbage, ashes
and rubbish is permissible. No vehicles used in the transporting of
ashes, garbage and rubbish shall be allowed to stand in or upon the
streets of the Borough of Kinnelon except when being loaded. All such
vehicles shall be provided with a waterproof body and sufficient covering
to prevent the escape of the contents thereof.

Any person, firm or corporation violating this
article shall be subject, upon conviction, to one or more of the following
at the discretion of the court: a fine not to exceed $1,000 or imprisonment
in the county jail for a term not to exceed 90 days or community service
not to exceed 90 days.
