It shall be unlawful to permit any dog waste to be deposited on any public property owned or controlled by the Borough of Pleasant Hills or on any other private property within the Borough of Pleasant Hills.

In the event that dog waste should be deposited on any public property of the Borough of Pleasant Hills or on any other private property within the Borough of Pleasant Hills, the person having control of said dog shall forthwith remove such dog waste into a plastic bag or other appropriate container and shall thereafter dispose of such dog waste in a sanitary manner.
The term "public property" used in this article shall refer, inter alia, to all public parks of the Borough of Pleasant Hills, all sidewalks in the Borough of Pleasant Hills and all streets in the Borough of Pleasant Hills and the grassy area between the sidewalk and the street.
Any person violating this article shall, upon conviction before the District Justice for the Borough of Pleasant Hills, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $300 for each individual violation of the provisions of this article.
