GENERAL REFERENCES
Peace and good order — See Ch. 122.
The practice of hunting for, shooting at or pursuing any living creature within the Township of Limerick between October 1 and January 15 of the year following, such dates being inclusive, is hereby declared unlawful and prohibited.
The provisions of § 104-1 hereof shall not apply to:
A. 
A property owner or lessee engaged in such activity upon his own property.
B. 
A person having in his possession the current written consent of the owner or lessee of the property upon which he is so engaged. Such written consent shall be on the form provided by the Township Board of Supervisors and made available by them for general distribution throughout the Township. Such written consent shall in no case be valid for a period greater than one year from the date of issuance.
C. 
A person engaged in such activity upon lands owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any agency thereof.
D. 
The trapping of predators and fur-bearing animals.
Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof before any Magisterial District Judge, be fined a sum of not less than $25 and no more than $50 plus costs of prosecution for each offense, or, in default of the payment of such fine and costs, such person or persons shall be committed to the Montgomery County Jail for a period not exceeding 30 days.
