All ashes, garbage and rubbish shall be removed
under the direction of the Board of Health of the Borough of Wanaque,
County of Passaic and State of New Jersey, subject to such additional
rules and regulations as said Board shall, from time to time, prescribe
by resolution not inconsistent with this chapter.
During the month of May in each year, one week
shall be designated by the said Board of Health of the Borough of
Wanaque as "cleanup week," during which the collector shall remove,
from the curb of the premises covered by this chapter all rubbish
and other material offered for collection, no single piece to weigh
more than 100 pounds. No extra compensation shall be asked or claimed
by the collector either from the Borough or from the occupant for
such "cleanup week" collections.
Any person guilty of any violation of any of
the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be
subject to a penalty of not more than $500 nor less than $5 for each
offense.
